Our pharmacists are authorized to assess and prescribe for many common health concerns, helping you receive timely care without the need for a doctor's appointment when appropriate.
During your consultation, the pharmacist will review your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and any relevant health information. If appropriate, the pharmacist can prescribe medication, recommend over-the-counter treatment, order or interpret certain laboratory tests (where authorized), or refer you to another healthcare provider if additional care is needed.
**Common conditions we can assess and prescribe for include:**
* Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
* Cold sores
* Allergies
* Acid reflux (heartburn)
* Mild acne
* Eczema and skin conditions
* Oral thrush
* Yeast infections
* Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
* Seasonal allergies
* Smoking cessation
* Contraception
* Minor skin infections and insect bites
* Other eligible minor ailments within the pharmacist's scope of practice
**Please bring:**

* A list of your current medications (if available)
* Any recent medical information relevant to your condition

Some medical conditions require assessment by a physician or nurse practitioner. If your symptoms suggest a serious illness or emergency, the pharmacist will refer you to the appropriate level of care.

Have a sore throat? Our pharmacists can assess whether your symptoms may be caused by strep throat and determine if testing is appropriate.
During your appointment, the pharmacist will review your symptoms, medical history, and perform an assessment. If indicated, a rapid strep test may be performed. Based on the results and your eligibility, the pharmacist can recommend appropriate treatment or refer you to another healthcare provider if necessary.
**This service may include:**
* Assessment of sore throat symptoms
* Rapid strep testing (when clinically appropriate)
* Review of your medical history and allergies
* Treatment recommendations
* Prescription for antibiotics, if indicated and within the pharmacist's scope of practice
* Advice on symptom relief and preventing the spread of infection
**Please note:**
* This service is intended for individuals with symptoms of a sore throat.
* If you have severe difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing saliva, significant swelling of the neck, or other severe symptoms, seek immediate medical attention instead of booking this appointment.
